Careers
For engineers who find an undocumented SSIS estate interesting.
Working here
We are senior US-based data engineers who work on SQL Server Integration Services estates: reading them, moving them, rebuilding the parts that deserve it, and keeping them running.
The work is unglamorous and genuinely difficult in a way that is easy to undersell. A four-hundred-package estate with no documentation, a catalog whose master key password nobody has, and a nightly batch the business closes its books on is a real engineering problem. Getting it onto a supported platform without losing a row is a real engineering achievement.
If that sounds like a description of your last three years rather than a warning, we would like to hear from you.
Senior Only
Every engineer on an engagement is senior and works directly with the client. There is no delivery layer between you and the people whose nightly batch you are changing, and no offshore access to client source, by policy.
Depth Over Breadth
We sell one thing. You will get deep into package internals, the SSISDB catalog, SQL Agent, the Azure-SSIS integration runtime and Data Factory, rather than a different stack every quarter.
Honest Recommendations
You will not be asked to sell a rewrite that a client does not need. Our assessments frequently conclude "keep most of it", and saying so is the job rather than a lost opportunity.
Remote, US-Based
Work runs remotely against client repositories and environments, with travel for kickoffs, cutovers and regulated environments. Engagements are hourly, and the hours are the hours.
Writing Is Part of the Work
Every engagement ends in documentation the client can use without us, and we publish what we learn as tutorials. If you would rather never write anything down, this is the wrong firm.

We do not have a numbered list of open roles. We do keep talking to senior data engineers with real SSIS depth — package internals, SSISDB, SQL Agent, and migrations to the Azure-SSIS integration runtime, SQL Managed Instance or Data Factory.
Send a note about the largest estate you have worked on, what shape it was in when you arrived, and what you changed. That tells us more than a CV does.
